[Human Territory, Koclhor Forest, Alcove of Amassing: ?]
A frail looking old man slowly strode into the Alcove of Amassing accompanied by a large fox whose back reached the man's shoulders. The fox's fur coat was mainly white with a fiery crimson at the tips of the ears and tail. A seductive female voice floated out from the fox, heard only by the old man and nature itself, "Seems pretty empty to me..."
"Hmm... it is indeed strange. I know Solatium was here not long ago, I can still feel the energy fluctuations of the Auctoritas here... Shadow would not have taken it down, seeing as he leaves Midas here to accompany any late arrivals. Things seem odd this time. The fact that I have lost contact of Shadow in and of itself is an oddity that cannot be explained, coupled with what is before our eyes, I am worried something happened." The old man stated calmly with his raspy voice that is filled with age.
He leaned against the fox and reached up a hand to lightly scrub behind her ear. "Thank you for accompanying me Frost, I always feel at ease with you around. Maybe because I am not truly alone with you by my side. I find comfort in that for sure, but I know you do not like to be all that close when I use my abilities, thus I would like to inform you that I must use the core to show me what has happened here. If you wish to retreat here, by all means, please do."
The fox, Frost, lightly moaned from the scrubbing of the old man before shaking her head and replying to his words. "With the current situation, I feel that leaving you be would be detrimental, not to mention, you may have use for me after you see the results."
"Indeed that is true. You are a wise fox indeed." The old man replied with a light chuckle.
The fox smiled, which would be quite disconcerting to many people if they saw such a thing. "Only because I was taught by you, master."
"Enough with this 'master' business! I have told you countless times not to call me such!" The old man quipped.
"You know, for being such a prodigy and having so much knowledge, you can really be an idiot sometimes." The fox stated with a look of slight annoyance as the old man ceased the scrubbing.
The old man only smiled at her response before walking to the center of the Alcove. He reached out with both hands palm up before him, clenching them into a fist as a long staff appeared. It was quite long, resting at eight feet long. The wood it was made out of emitted a fruity fragrance as it was moved through the air to rest by the old man's side. Other than some odd runes that seemed to cover the majority of the staff, it was smooth and glossy, and gave off an air of nobility. The noble aura from the staff seemed somewhat disproportionate to the old man grasping it, but no one usually seemed to care in the past, not to mention there was no one around now.
With his hands nearly eight inches apart on the staff, the old man brought it before him vertically before lifting it nearly a foot, only to bring it back down to stab lightly into the ground. A clear 'ping' sounded out within the Alcove, echoing off of the trees with the staff's tip as the epicenter. Soon after, the ground began to rumble slightly. Frost took two steps back, feeling uneasy as the ability of the old man commenced, but she kept her eyes closely on the old man, in case something went awry.
(Will post again on this part probably tomorrow to finish this post up. Getting tired somewhat whilst writing. May be online for a while longer, just not up to writing the next section tonight.)

[Human Territory: Malagarm: Ash, Merona]
I felt my body tense when Merona touched my arm, expecting a reaction perhaps of horror and disgust, but only pleasantness met me. She wielded power, I had seen it, but it was elusive I realised, unavailable and strange... How odd.
The pounding inside my skull continued ruthlessly, Merona's softly spoken words hard to capture, but I pieced it together into an understanding, lips curving into a waned smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you Merona-." I croaked, pausing in my speech to cough, the very simple action sending a lance of pain through my head. Wincing visibly, pointed ears drooping, I slowly trailed a hand to cup my forehead. "My head... I... I am suffering from magical exertion, it is not the first time yet I feel this is far worse." I mumbled, eyebrows crinkling as my features twisted sheepishly. "The only remedies that I have found is through consumption of energy, or at least when I had an episode that usually works, this I feel however is not an episode..." I mumbled, trailing off at the rightly confused look Merona wore. Sighing, I briefly close my eyes now void of colour. "It matters not, you seem immune to my pull and are in no danger. Please just address me as Ash? I do not like formalities either."
To Merona's hospitality I felt my stomach flip and roll at the thought of food. I had quickly associate food with an overwhelming desire to empty my insides right after an episode and grimaced. "J-just water will be fine, please?"
[Niquitonix: Rowan]
Flatly, she stared at BlueFlame, jaw clenching at the laughter reverberating through her mind. "Agh, that is going to take time to get used of..." She muttered drily, eyes narrowing upon his continued babbling.
Suddenly the elemental's ramblings was cut short at the high pitched sonic wave, her form jerking back at the force. The human stumbled, dropping her mobile in the process and frowned. "Am I going to be attacked by your friends? I am human, your elemental powers will probably disintegrate me in seconds." Although Row looked as calm, and as cold as a statue of ice, she was angry, her mind shifting over self defence tactics that probably were useless against the odd flaming orbs.
Flicking her ginger hair away from her face, Row slowly turned to face the entrance of the cavern, hazel gaze flickering about the crystalline palace as she waited.

[Human Territory, Malagarm: Ash, Merona]
Merona quickly called her maid from outside the door and ordering her to fetch clean water. "If it has something to do with a magic overdraft, I may have something to help. We call it a mana drop. If added to water it will dilute it enough to partake directly and can help tremendously for magic restoration. Would you like to try it? I have some here for safety sake, albeit I cannot use it, often my subordinates can when running into issues."
As she asked the maid appeared again placing a pitcher blown from glass that was full of water on the desk as well as a small cup crafted from copper. Merona silently motioned for the maid to stay for a few moments, anticipating that the maid may be required to prop Ash up to where she could drink without difficulties.
[Niquitonix: Rowan]
BlueFlame was somewhat unsure how to answer, but stuck with his previous statement. "As I said, if any problems happen, I will take care of it. There should be no worries. There are very few elementals that would be rich enough to attack straight away, and those are usually the more volatile Fire Based ones."
Suddenly a window displayed itself before the two of them, showing a pale frost blue smoke or most in a spherical form. A voice was directly emitted from the display to the two of them, speaking not to the mind, as BlueFlame had done, but directly to one's soul. "BlueFlame, are you safe?"
"Very." He responded calmly with his broadcasted mind speech. "Shattering Darkness jumped to conclusions as is usual. It is a false alarm that it is an intruder, more so, it seems like someone that was directly and unknowingly sent here by some power."
The displayed sphere seemed to bob as a "hmm" directly sounded out to one's soul. "Bring this visitor to me, I wish to speak to them directly, as it would be rude for me not to receive such an unusual visitor." The conversation concluded quickly, without any regard to Rowan] who stood there.
BlueFlame directly turned to Rowan to see her reaction before proceeding.

[Human Territory, Koclhor Forest, Alcove of Amassing: ?]
The earth began to split open as a silvery liquid metal began to deep out from the rent earth en masse. As the metal seeped out of the earth, it began to take several forms. Soon Solatium stood before the old man, merely made from the silvery metal, as well as a blurry form crafted by the silvery metal that somewhat resembled Shadow. An Elf also appeared by his side made from the metal. They were speaking about their plans on meeting at Malagarm. They soon departed, and time passed slowly before another form appeared before Solatium.
As the dwarven form appeared, it was surrounded by Midas's, only to fall to the power wielded by the dwarf, who soon delved into the center of Solatium, drawing out its core, the Auctoritas, and vanishing.
After this was witnessed by the old man, the metal that had come from the rent earth slowly returned as the time earth mended itself together once more.
The old man slowly turned to the fox who had retreated a very short distance, who was slightly shivering even though the temperature was quite temperate right now. He beckoned her over gently. She shivered once before slowly padding over to him and testing her head against his thin chest. Seeing her like this, he couldn't help but gently stroke her head like a parent would a frightened child. "Frost, I am sorry that you had to see such a thing happen once more, I know how much it frightens you. If I were more competent, maybe I would be able to do things without using the core, but alas, I have depended on it for so long that I have not looked for other ways for several hundred years."
She looked up at him and lightly purred similarly to a cat before separating from him slightly. "Do you recognize the dwarf?" She asked after she had finished calming down.
"Indeed I do. Vaxinhonarg has made an appearance against Shadow it appears... this is not good. He is one of very few beings in my memories that directly has the power to defy him. The elf that appeared beside shadow was a new face though. Were you able to get a clear reading off of her? One you could track?" He asked with a hopeful expression
"I did. It was faint, but I can still feel her trail. Shall we follow her?" The fox asked
"Indeed. She may have some answers. Let me ride you." He said resolutely.
"Here? Now? Don't you think that could be bad? Wr have to go after her trail before I lose it, if I let you ride me now I may not have the strength after… " she said coquettishly as she glanced at the old man.
"Oh, you! You know what I meant… even in your fox form you make these jokes, could you at least keep them to your semi human appearance? At least then… nevermind… let us go forth!" He said after getting fluster and slightly blushing.
She giggled pleasantly. "Even someone so many thousand years old can act like this! Get on, remember to hold on tight and ride me hard!" Her coquettishness returned as he climbed on her back before she took off at a fast speed.

[Human Territory, Malagarm : Ash]
I agreed to the mana drop hesitantly, it was not something I had used let alone heard about and flushed as I struggled to sit up, the maid rushing to my side to aid me.
I felt frail, broken and this embarrassed me, but as I swallowed eagerly at the water infused by the mana drop, I felt a tiny ping of rejuvenation scour through me, easing the angry pain within my skull. Abruptly my body relaxed, a tinge of healthy colour blossoming across my skin. It wasn't I knew, enough, my reservoir of mana which was vast, needed much more to find its equilibrium again. "Thank you, both of you..." I spoke with more strength, gaze shifting from Merona and then to her maid, before passing the cup back shakily.

Continued...
My brows pulled together, I had told Merona and her maid to step away, perhaps out side the room while I attempted this. I expanded my mind as I leaned back comfortably with the pillow behind my head and let my second sight wander in search for a suitable source of mana. This act did not cause me to suffer, it was instead rather pleasant, and I soared over the tiny and numerous auras coming from the citizens of Malagarm. Magical items were scattered here and there, and small wells of power, yet I was searching for a source that wouldn't be affected by my pull.

[Niquitonix: Rowan]
When BlueFlame turned to her, she shrugged, bending down to pick up her phone and scowling lightly upon noting a tiny crack in the screen. Music still blared from the headphones, something about black finger nails and red wine?
Rowan sighed, thumbing the screen a few times until the music shut off suddenly, and followed the elemental through the cavern, boots clicking smartly, and hips swaying in a distinctly feminine way.
Small as the human was, her frame was wiry and her sharply defined features revealed the indomitable and possibly fiery personality beneath.

[Human Territory, Malagarm]
Mana is not something readily found in high quantities in the Human Territory. Within Malagarm there are a number of mid to high rank magic users, but even those people dont have an abundant supply of mana. Thus is the way of humans. However, that doesn't mean that there are no exceptions.
An old man on the back of a beautiful white fox paused before gates of Malagarm before he continued into the city at a moderate pace. No one moved to obstruct him as he made his way in. As he made his way to the castle he felt an odd sensation pass overhead, almost as if someone was looking for something remotely… no, that was exactly what it was. He didn't have time to ponder on this though, as he continued on Frost's back towards the castle, following that elfs aura signature.
[Human Territory, Malagarm: Ash, Merona]
Merona looked relieved that Ash seemed to be doing better. Upon Ash's request Merona and her maid made their way out of the room. Once outside a messenger rushed up to Merona. "Princess, reporting. The Hermit has apparently come through the gates moments ago and is heading this way."
Merona's face showed surprise at the report before responding. "Thank you for your dutiful report. I will meet him at the door." She watched as the messenger saluted and then left before turning to her maid. "Keep watch here that no one disturbs her. If she needs anything, help her with it. If she wishes to tour the place, accompany her as if she were me."

[Human Territory, Malagarm]
My search seemed to be for naught as I swept Malagarm and the outlying area within my range and I began to despair, until out of the blue I saw below with my mind's eye what I needed. The mana source was massive and I hovered over and 'zoomed' in on the source, finding with disappointment that it was not Shadow but instead a frail man astride a beautiful beast.
Tentatively at first I probed his aura, my tendrils of power twined together like spiralling DNA, where at the end formed a hand, index finger pressing against the old man's aura. As I do so, i more or less attempted to link our minds for a short moment. 'Please do not be alarmed but I require a portion of your mana, I apologies.' True sincerity coloured my mind voice. It seemed unwise to pull from him, given that whoever this powerful man was, seemed to be riding in the direction of the castle, without first gaining consent, so I waited for any indication of acceptance before I tugged his power toward me with a coaxing of the metaphysical index finger.
The act would create an iron clad connection between he and I as tendrils of my aura wrapped about his form seethingly.

[Niquitonix: Rowan]
BlueFlame led the way through a series of corridors that were all enclosed without windows or the like. There was ambient lighting along the hallway, but in all truth, the sphere of fire leading the way put off quite enough light. Periodically along the way creaking sounds could be heard from the walls as if they were under an immense strain.
Eventually BlueFlame paused before a large door that towered over twelve feet tall, dwarfing both Rowan and the sphere of blue fire.
A tendral of flame reached out and touched an access panel to the side of the door to pour some mana into. Immediately after the mana entered the panel, the door gave. After the initial give, the door slowly opened the rest of the way.
Revealed within was something that looked kind of like a throne room. A massive throne was raised a bit in the middle, with ornately scrolled arms and back. To either side of the throne were a few other chairs that had varying degrees of elegance and flair in a strange array. Some of the chairs had displays before them, others did not, but all of them were empty and dormant except for the throne, which houses the elemental that had called for Rowan to meet.
The room itself was actually dome like in appearance, only skewing lightly to meet the door that had just been opened. The walls of this room were completely clear, without even a single seam or joint, only perpetual smoothness. Beyond those clear walls was an abundance of one thing: water. The surroundings appeared to be deep underwater, with deep sea type of fish swimming by hurriedly, as well as other mythological creatures like sea serpents that would shoot through the water while eyeing the occupants of the clear room closely.
