Name: Jerand Calcour
Alias: Viper
Race: Human
Physical description: Jerand's features can be best described as snake-like, though he has been on occasions been called as "handsome." He has black shaggy hair that barely reaches past his ears. His complexion is of an olive color, and stands at a height of five foot eight. His build is somewhat lanky, though he does have some muscles. For the most part though, he can fit well into a crowd if he tries. Jerand will most often be seen wearing plain brown pants and a white shirt.
Mentality: Lies and deceit, those traits inherit Jerand's entire body. However, Jerand was born into a noble's house, and as such is usually very good at hiding such facts, and indeed has trained himself to be able to act a completely different person. He is generally a quiet man, though his ears are terribly perceptive. His temper is very short, though he is generally very good at hiding his emotions. What are very evident, however, are his obvious love for pastries, and his obvious hate for all kinds of cheese.
Primary weaponry: A single, unremarkable longsword. The only thing noticeable about it, is if someone had held it and noticed its nearly perfect balance.
Secondary weaponry(optional): Two knives, mostly used for assassin work.
Powers, abilities, and skills: Jerand has no magical power to speak of, though as stated above, Jerand has remarkable skills in the deceptive arts. He is also adept at using both his sword and knives, and not to mention being able to create a wicked Drury pie.
Background: Born into nobility from a kingdom far away that nobody cares about, Jerand's court life could be best described as very boring. He wasn't even allowed to help the baker of the castle, even though he had discovered he had quite an affinity to the inner workings of pastries that did not have to do with the treacherous food of cheese. It was the underground life that the young noble preferred, the life of an assassin. After three years of training, Jerand decided he was ready for his own first mission. The assassin promptly usurped the Calcour household soon after.
However, the government soon found out and though they usually respected this type of gaining power, rules still held as Jerand had failed to adequately cover his tracks. Outlawed and hunted, the now banished noble quite literally ran for his life. Escaping over the border into the next country, barely entering with his life, Jerand has then since become a sort of nomad, though he has been known on occasions to settle down in towns with work as a baker's assistant, and an assassin on the side, should someone ever know.
