Yxia froze completely as the emperor grabbed her roughly, even her lungs pausing as she refrained from inhaling or exhaling for several seconds until he let go. It took every ounce of self control which she'd developed over four and a half centuries for the dark elf not to react even as she could practically feel the blood boil beneath her grayish blue skin. Yxia had made the mistake of resisting the man once in the past and had suffered dearly for it, that she would never] forget. Swallowing her pride, she forced her lips into a faint smile as if she actually enjoyed having the man's vile hands on her. Yxia was utterly disgusted and ashamed of herself, having no choice but to act like a common harlot, but that was part of the sacrifices she needed to make for the survival of her race. Still, it didn't make it any easier.
The second that Marcus ordered her to get going, the general did just that, certainly not waiting to be told twice. Spinning on her heels, the dark elf walked away swiftly, immediately throwing the hood back over her head so that it cast a shadow over her fiercely blushing face. Storming across the camp, Yxia grabbed a soldier at random, pulling him towards her by the collar and being unnecessarily rough with him due to the foul mood that she was now in. "Get to the cages and tell the beastmasters that I've given the order to bring our pets out, but to keep them concealed behind the front lines. No need to spoil the surprise," she finished as she shoved the nervous soldier away.
Yxia headed off to find Rurik next, as she had a good way of making use of him during the oncoming battle. Unsurprisingly, she found him attempting to swindle more soldiers into dueling him, but the dark elf wasn't in the mood for his antics at the moment. "Rurik!" she called out sternly, raising her voice enough for him to know that it was something serious. "Get your things, you're coming with me. Now," Yxia ordered the boy, still feeling mad at the world after her recent encounter with the emperor.

Avaarick saw Leon strolling coolly towards him accompanied by Nikon. He had been fighting in this god forsaken war since the beginning and he knew Nikon. He had a good heart and was to be trusted. He saw Brave's hand reach for his rapier but he left it at the hilt. Good, this won't end violently. he though to himself.
"Brave!" he barked. Avaarick had been told to behave in a stoic manner and he strained to revert to behaving in accordance with his jolly nature. "My commander has extended an offer to you; a very tentative peace treaty." He recalled the words his commander had told him to say and repeated them ver batem. "Aienstar threatens us both with its army. We can hold them off individually, but we will never defeat them by ourselves. We need to unite for this battle, and deliver Aienstar a defeat they cannot recover from." Avaarick swallowed audibly. He relayed the part he was extremely nervous about. Shifting his feet he said, "I offer myself to fight for you in this battle," he paused for a moment to regain his calm. "in exchange for temporary peace." After he delivered the message he regained his composure and stood stolidly once more.

Leon Brave
Leon paused a moment, looking the giant over. "I would normally consult my lord on such a request. But I can see the logic in your words. We shall stand together against Aienster," he said. "I never wanted to fight Garis to begin with. But, you seem nervous. If it is simply for our peace treaty, know that we will uphold it. You may return to Garis if you would like. The soldiers of Balan keep to their words. We shall not fight Garis this day. Aienster shall be pushed back."
Marcus Benign
Marcus laughed lightly. The girl would like the little present he had given for her to fight Balan and Garis with. Among their conquests was the darker nation of Acerbus. It was home to many dark creatures...including werewolves. Fearsome animals. But they were just that. Animals. He had given them a bit of magic, forcing their changed state to remain, despite no full moon in effect. And they were caged with the rest. And addition to Yxia's army of pets. She could control them, he was sure.
Satisfied that the battle would be seen, he called for one of Yxia's little Dark Elf breatheren. He may as well have some fun while he waited. While these people were despised, they had a good enough body for him. He promised not to kill them, but he could use them as he wished. Not that Yxia was ever privy to how he used them.

=Rurik Aian= (One little note, Rurik is in it for the violence, not the gold. The men bet between themselves.)
"Well, sorry boys, I'll have to destroy whatever semblance of pride you still have later. I have to go do things that are far above you." He grinned smugly at the troops who grumbled dejectedly and threw a few curse words at him. "Don't worry, I'll throw a good word in for you. Maybe she'll let you shovel her pet's feces." He laughed and marched over to Yxia after grabbing his small supply bag.
"Well my lady," And he said that with the utmost lack of respect, "You're looking quite well steamed today." He smirked, noticing her bad mood, though it was hard to miss... He was probably the only one willing to act like that around her. He was one of their army's best assets, and he knew that only too well. Beyond that, he was just plain cocky. However, he'd back down before she would be mad enough to kill him, he wasn't stupid. "Need me to kill something?" He asked, actually sounding a little hopeful. "I'm always willing to serve in that capacity."
Aeron
Aeron finally returned to the army camp of Garis. He figured it wouldn't be too long until the battle now. A few of the guards saw him, but let him pass after he proved his identity.
"Good to have you with us. I'm sure our Lord will be pleased to have you fighting with us in the battle." One of them saluted.
"Of course. We'll puss Aeinster back at least a little closer to where they came." Aeron chuckled slightly.
"I have faith in this nation's men. They are much better warriors than those in that bigot Marcus's forces." Aeron nodded.
"Ha! Of course!" The guard laughed, feeling a bit more spirited.
"Well, I should rest some before the battle. I had a long march to get here on time." Aeron nodded and entered the camp, heading towards an area that seemed to house a few less men. Most respected him, but others found him unnerving, and their stares were annoying. Sure he was tall and imposing, and most knew by now that he wasn't human, but he was willing to work them, so their nervous stares were a pain.

Kunwir tested the mace, then the custom Zweihänder. he held them forward as he looked to Aienster, sensing the beasts in their camp. the air around his weapons shimmered as black flames engulfed them.
he glanced to Balan, seeing the giant's heart beats, dismissing it as an approval from the other side.
tension was building, almost tangable in the air.

Feeling comfort slowly flooding back into his limbs he stood up straight and said, "unless you object I have orders to enter the battle from this camp, aiding you where I can until I can join up with Garis. I will happily do any service you require and, not to be vain, but I could help you greatly in this battle.
Avaarick unshouldered his hammer and the head hit the ground with a thud. His right hand placed inversely on the man size wooden handle. As the head hit the ground it produced a small sandstorm around it as dust flew into the air. The sunlight glinted off the well polished silver and it's intricate gold inlays. There were many runes of his people inlaid with liquid gold all over the hammer.
Hoping he had not made himself sound menacing, he waited for a response.

Urius let the magic dissipate as the exchange continued. It seemed that this would turn out to be an agreeable arrangement. He felt no threat from Avaarick. When the hammer fell, he almost reacted defensively, but detected no hostile intent in the giants eyes. He looked at Brave, and then back at Avaarick. Urius believed that he had a good head on his shoulders, and spoke up.
"If it is not against your wishes, General Brave, or yours, Avaarick, I would wish to fight by your side and assist in your endeavor," The minotaur said in his sage like voice, looking up at the giant. "I'm inspired by your honor. I've seen you fight before and together I believe we could change the tide of this battle, friend."
The mere thought of the tales to be had excited Urius. He truly believed that if they could strengthen their bond, it might also help strengthen the bond between Balan and Garis. It was a long shot, and two warriors working together wasn't likely to bring two nations together, but it was a worthy endeavor regardless of the chances.

Leon Brave
"Of course. And if you have no objection to the suggestion, I would agree with Nikon here. Now, I must finish my preparations for the battle if we're to challenge Aienster. Nikon will help you to your position so you can be of most use to us," Leon explained. With that, he turned back, heading towards camp. All that was left was to take up his sword and position the troops. He needed to bring out everything to defeat Aienster here. Outside of Balan. He had heard whispers of their beasts in the army...and that worried him. What worried him more were the 'recruits' from other nations. Especially Acerbus. They were known to be fearsome creatures. Werewolves, Vampires, Dark Elves...even the Undead were not unheard of from that land. While Aienster was a bit of a bigot, he did know to use his slaves wisely until he's won. They would be against them just as well as human soldiers.
This would take careful planning. "Mardek! Lina! Come here!" he called over the crowd of troops, wanting the soldier to arrive.
Cecilia Light
Cecilia stalked across the line of troops, looking them over carefully, her two blades sheathed at her back. "Good...We won't lose this. Especially if Balan assists us," she murmured quietly. She turned to Kunwir, knowing his strength from previous battles. "You. Kunwir. Come here. I will be giving you a very special mission for this battle..." Once he came to her, she crossed her arms, continuing to walk. "I sent a runner to Balan. They'll be working to perform attack on two fronts. I have word that their Emperor is here. Stop the Emperor of Aienster from interfering in this battle. He's extremely strong and you should use the utmost caution. Kill him if you can, but I doubt that will be possible. Just delay him if nothing else."
Marcus Benign
As he finished with the Dark Elf he had been abusing, he let her lay on his cot for a moment before sending it away with two guards. He moved to the back wall, grabbing his scimitar. He smiled a bit as he looked at the black edge of Obsidious. He left quickly after that. "Round up the troops! We're preparing to march! We've given Balan and Garis enough time to prepare!" he shouted to the camp, waving his scimitar through the air carelessly.

Kunwir spun his mace, then took his leave. he vanished as he walked away, running across the edge of the battlefield unseen. when he reached the Aienster camp he heard someone shouting about marching. then he saw the scimitar... he looked at the Kanud, looking to see if they were made of the same material(if so, all hell is going to break loose) he realized his invisibility spell was about to wear off, so he hid close to the emperor.
he looked to Balan and Garis, wondering when the first moves would be.

Unable to maintain his stoic stance any longer Avaarick allowed a great smile to sneak in under his thick auburn beard. The thought of fighting beside Nikon filled him with joy. He knew he was a great a respectable fighter and the games to be had were unending. The sunlight was glinting off of his blue-white Osmium (look it up if you haven't already. I'm fairly familiar with it's physical qualities and it's a vital part of his battle strategy) plate mail. The suit itself weighed close to 350 pounds but he wore it as if were linen.
"How could I object!? Fighting along side you would be an honor Urius!" Just thinking about the impending slaughter caused a great bellowing laugh to escape from his lips.
When he had first joined Garis's forces people had often teased him mercilessly about his cheery nature and the stark contrast to his size. That and his habit of getting woefully drunk and falling through the walls of people's houses. All of that changed when he set foot on his first battlefield. His fellow soldier's watched in awe as he rampaged across the battlefield, swinging his massive hammer left and right taking out entire centuries (I don't know what system of battlefield organization to use here, so I'm sticking with Roman, I can change it later though) by himself.
The weapons of his enemies glancing off his armor like toothpicks against bricks. Even the fireballs cast at him by the enemy casters could not faze his armor. (Incase you haven't taken the time to look it up, Osmium has a melting point of 3030 degrees Celsius so fire is not particularly effective)
"So where would you like me?" He asked, the smile still on his face.
