Avaarick saw Lina stretch her hand up as high as it would go and he grinned at the fact that the tips of her fingers barely reached the bottom of his massive chest muscles. He raised his hand and gently shook hers. As his hand grasped her hand it dissapeared from sight, smothered by his baseball glove sized hands. "Pleasure to meet you Lina, the name's Avaarick!" He let out a hearty chuckle. As soon as Brave began to speak he snapped his attention to his temporary commander.
He received his orders with joy. Finally he was going to see battle! He began to jog towards the field of battle with Nikon when he heard the men shout. Aienstar was charging. "Like lambs to the slaughter!" He called out as he took off in a sprint. "You coming Urius?"

When Avaarick tapped Urius on the shoulder and asked his question, he He replied with a low chuckle "Soon enough, I'm sure." He listened to Lina's reply and noticed the cold in her voice. He watched her warily. Vengeance was a powerful emotion, and hoped that she wouldn't get in over her head trying to act upon it.
As the call came that Aienster was charging, Avaarick took of. His size belied his speed as he rocketed toward the front line. Hearing the challenge, he took off himself, his powerful hooved legs pounding the ground in order to catch up. As he was running he called out ahead of him "I'm not as young as I used to be, my friend! Unlike you I do not live forever!"
That did not mean he was out of shape, however. His constant exploration of the mountain ranges around his homeland's valleys provided an excellent training ground to maintain his health.

Leon Brave
Leon followed them to the front lines. Seeing the line charging, and seeing Garis rallying in response, he smiled lightly. "Charge. We'll take them all out now. Open a path to the commander," he ordered the two larger men. As the troops would move out, he would lash out at any enemy that got close enough, his rapier brandished and showing just the reason why he was made second in command.
Marcus Benign
Marcus laughed at the flames. He stopped just before they reached each other, bending back and going under his arm. Coming up behind him, he slashed up with his scimitar, slicing cleaning through the armor. The flames responded to that, shooting up with him and gathering above. He was controlling Kunwir's flames. "You're terribly outmatched. Do you know your allies sent you on a suicide mission?" he asked, letting the flames gathering into his hand. Slamming his fist into Kunwir's back, he didn't give him a chance to fight back, slashing down and making a long gash in his back just before he flew out of range from the blow.

Hearing some sort of unusual commotion coming over from Marcus' portion of the Aienster battle line, Yxia narrowed her eyes and peered over in that direction, her elven eyesight allowing her to determine what was going on. Apparently the emperor wanted to personally deal with one single assassin rather than leading his own troops into battle, showing once again that his ego and pride far outweighed any sense of duty towards his people or nation. "What an arrogant fool," the dark elf whispered to herself before preparing to send her own troops forward. Garis and Balan were already advancing, which was when their troops were the most clustered together, so that made it the ideal time for Yxia to unleash the power of her bow which would simultaneously act as the signal to her forces.
Nocking a bundle of five arrows against the shaft, Yxia aimed Skyshatter high into the air before firing in the direction of the advancing Garis and Balan forces. The arrows seemed to accelerate on their way up rather than slowing down, and large spheres of ethereal blue flames gradually began to form around them. On the way back down, they'd become full fledged arcane comets, barreling down towards the enemy lines as streaks of blueish fire followed behind them. In the meantime, Yxia had repeated the act, bringing the total number or comets up to ten. Crashing all over the opposing forces' formations, the magical projectiles caused decent sized craters where they hit and killed or injured several dozen soldiers from the combined Garis and Balan forces, in addition to leaving fiery debris all over the place.
The sounds of the explosions were drowned out by the collective warcry of Yxia's troops, however, who knew that the blue lights in the sky meant that it was time to charge. Her rank and file soldiers included human soldiers, savage barbarians, half-orcs, goblins and centaurs which formed an eclectic but very flexible and unpredictable force. In addition, Yxia of course had many other cards up her sleeve, a couple of which she was going to unveil immediately. "Bring forth the serpent with many heads," the dark elf commanded in her native tongue to one of her brethren who was in charge of leading the beast in question into battle.
Moments later, beastmaster Talanar had emerged from behind the hill which hid all of Aienster's exotic creatures from view of the other nations, accompanied by almost a dozen soldiers. Each of the men pulled the chain of a thick collar which was attached around one of the hydra's nine heads as they led the fifteen foot tall monster towards the front lines. "I want you to aid in the assault against the very center of Balan's front lines. Just look out for the giant, you can't miss him, that's where you need to be. Slaying him will weaken their strength as well as their morale greatly. Go." Yxia's orders to Talanar were clear, and with a bow he and his men were off towards the spot where they'd been directed. Once they'd gotten close enough to Balan's troops, Talanar aggravated the beast through expert use of his whip before ordering it to be released and watching it cut itself a path through the Aienster forces, crushing or knocking away anything in its path without discrimination on its way to Balan's army and more specifically Avvarick.
"And for you, my excitable little Rurik, I have an even more important task. The blond Garis bitch," Yxia started, knowing that Rurik would recognize that as being Cecilia Light. "I want you to bring me back a lock of her hair. With her head attached to it." Smirking slightly, she nodded to the boy, signaling that he could leave and get to work on his assignment. Yxia had confidence in his abilities, but eve if he didn't slay Cecilia, she knew that he would be quite the thorn in Garis' side nonetheless as he carved through their soldiers in search of his target.
Having given all the orders that she needed to for the time being, the dark elf general whistled with the aid of her fingers, calling her mount to her. Second later, Lethos had already landed and lowered himself practically right at her feet, allowing her to climb on to the saddle easily. Pulling back on the reigns, she guided him into the air briefly so that they could reach the front line where Yxia's troops had already engaged Balan's, not too far from where the hydra was reeking havoc as well. Having equipped the heavy lance which had been carried by her manticore, Yxia managed to impale several soldiers on its steel tip as she ordered her mount to swoop directly into them. Lethos swatted even more of them out of the way, opening deep gashes across many of their bodies before the immediate area around him and his rider had been temporarily cleared out.
"Commander Brave," Yxia's voice boomed over the battlefield towards Leon who was less than a hundred yards ahead of her. "Would you care for a friendly duel? But please don't feel obliged, you're free to back down in front of your men if you wish. No pressure," she taunted, figuring that the easiest way to carry out the task given to her by Marcus was to go at it as directly as possible.

=Rurik Aian=
"So that's my assignment huh... I might even be happy enough to apologize later." He'd said to Yxia before heading out to find Cecilia. The Garis forces were a bit late to the party, but he could see them quickly advancing now. He's wait until they engaged the regular troops before he tried anything. He was no match for an entire army, no matter how deadly he was.
=Aeron=
When the other armies had mobilized,he knew there was no more time to wait, and he'd sounded the order to march. They'd advanced quickly across the field, and after not long, could already hear the battle in session in the shrinking distance.
Soon they were in range to start the final charge.
"This is it men! For home and country! For honor and gloooory!" He Motioned for the men to charge, and with a resounding war cry, the men ran towards the enemy. Aeron charge with them, lance held out and ready to impale. The two armies collided, and Aeron's lance impaled three men at once before he used a burst of magic from his aura to send them flying off the lance to crash into their comrades. He then lifted the lance and with an almighty swing struck down six more men who flew back, crushed and lacerated, screaming as their lives drained out of them. A few more men moved to try and attack him before he could recover, but he held his free hand out and blasted them away with another burst from his aura.
He advanced on one before he could rise and impaled him and lifted his bleeding corpse off the ground before flinging him off his lance and into the Aeinster forces like a bloody catapult round.
=Rurik=
Rurik almost casually strolled through the Aeinster army, heading towards the Garis forces. He hadn't seen Cecilia at the head of the army, but he figured if he slaughtered his way through enough men he'd eventually find her. He'd certainly weaken Garis a little. He reached the area where the forces were mixed, and one Garis soldier turned to face Rurik as he noticed the young man, but it was too late as Rurik had already formed a blade and stabbed the man. He twisted the blade to quicken his victims death and then kicked the soon to be dead soldier away.]
He then formed a second sword in his other hand and quickly advanced to the front and began cutting Garis troops down left and right. They were stunned to have their blades pass through his or turn to rust in their hands. They couldn't touch him as their weapons or armor failed them as he used his magic.
He then remembered Yxia's hydra and had an idea. He stepped back and let some fellow Aeinster men take the heat off him while he sacrificed his swords and armor for something a little scarier. He soon had five tendrils of flexible metal coming off his back. Not as many as the hydra, but he didn't have enough metal for that. It took a lot of focus, but he was able to direct the tendrils to stab into any Garis troop who came into hiss range.
He loved improvisation.

Kunwir didnt respond to the slashes in the least as the black armor mended itself. he then looked to Marcus shaking his head as a deep rumbling laugh echoed out, shaking the very ground. he then began walking toward Marcus, calm and collected, using magic to boost his own reflexes as he swung long range with the zweihänder, a blast of black lightning speeding forth with unrivaled speed. he followed with the same speed using the mace, hitting the ground as the ground shot up with shadow spikes.
Kunwir thought to himself as he was warming up, 'if he only knew, or even had an idea...'

Lina, cute little doll like Lina. It was probably just as well that she didn't bother to wash the blood off her herself. She had just replaced it anyway. After her introduction to the giant and very quick farewells, she'd disappeared to slip into the forest, following the path laid out for her. For the most part she'd seen little of the fight, though she had stopped to watch the balls of fire race though the air. She had to admit, she was most impressed with them, and she found them more than just a little bit pretty. For a bit, she simply loved them. Until she had realized that they were headed for her friends.
When she realized that, she found herself suddenly worried about them. With hopes of calming herself, she closed her eyes, forcing herself to settle down so she could continue her mission. Once she was finally back in the frame of mind she needed to be in, she turned towards the enemy, stalking forwards with deadly intent. Having been trained for this, she made not a sound as she walked, her knife already out.
It was a good thing it was too. It wasn't long before she came upon a strange man dressed in the uniforms that matched those from Aienster. He had a bow out, aiming to make a surprise attack with his bow and arrows from the sides. Eyes hard, she slipped up behind him, ever so nicely slitting his throat. Then our sweet, adorable little girl disemboweled him. Ever so politely pulling out his intestines, she used them to delicately string him up in a tree, leaving him there for his friends to find later. Isn't she nice? Leaving them such a sweet present like that.
Satisfied with the kill, she pulled off his shirt, using it to clean as much blood from her face, hands, arms, and hair as she could. Her dress was a lost cause. Leaving the shirt in a pile under his feet, she slid back into the shadows, making her way towards the camp again. Hiding where she was sure she wouldn't be discovered, she settled down to wait, cleaning off her weapon as she watched the fight, wondering if Kunwir would be able to kill Marcus or not. She hoped so, but at the same time she hoped not. She wanted to be the one to kill him, to skin him alive as he had done to her master. But she didn't really want him to live any longer than he had to, even if it was for revenge. She wasn't blind because of her pain. Not yet, at least. She hadn't been ticked off by anything. Besides, killing that soldier had felt good and helped calm her.

Leon Brave
As the giant and minotaur cleared a path, Leon continued to cut through whoever got past the two. That was, until he realized what they were throwing at them to try and halt their progress. He could see the Hydra lumbering towards them. But his attention was immediately on the Dark Elf. He smiled softly, holding his rapier up with the point towards her. He slashed to the side quickly, taking out another soldier as he tried to take advantage of Leon's distraction. "Challenge accepted." He stepped back, waiting for her to come down. He kept the soldiers away from him, slashing whoever got too close. His own men knew to keep away already. They wouldn't interfere with this.
Cecilia Light
Cecilia snuck through the forest with her small group of soldiers. She'd met Mardek a while back and they were continuing their progress. But she was now glancing around the area quietly. She kept hearing noises. She knew they weren't alone. Sighing lightly, she drew her two blades. Before it could strike her, the first attacker was ducked under and sliced across the stomach. It cried out in pain, quickly flipping back to its feet. "Huh...They're sending out a lot of their pets for this battle..." she murmured as she watched the werewolves surrounding them. The soldiers were nervous, but she held strong. What she failed to notice were two heading out of the forest, finding fresh blood out on the rest of the battlefield.
Marcus Benign
Marcus laughed again, his blade flashing before him. The lightning caught on it before he slashed back and sent it racing into Kunwir's body. He then shot forward, slamming his fist into the stomach of his opponent, the strength forcing a dent into it. And before he could react, another slash came out. It slashed diagonally down the chest before he spun back and slashed a deep gash into the arm. But these slashes were different. A light blue glow emenated from them. He'd find he couldn't regenerate from these blow, magic halting the regeneration.

The two collided with the Aiesnter army with enough force that the sheer weight behind their weapons seemed to create a concussive shock-wave, knocking men and beasts alike back. Avaarick with his hammer issuing forth a swath of destruction, and Nikon using his spear with deadly accuracy and speed, and using it as a balance as he struck others with his fists, claws, and hooves.
In fact, as the first minute or two of the battle passed, it seemed almost as if they were the focus of the entire battle. When the blue fireballs started raining upon the forces, Urius roared as he cut down another beast-like solider, rallying the troops around him. His spear was red with not only blood, but the lust for battle that consumed it. Urius' own white eyed slowly turned a bright crimson color as the fight continued.
With the hydra making its way toward them Nikon slammed the base of his spear on the ground, releasing a wave of his spirit magic. The nearby friendly forces speed nearly doubled. Things from their perspective began to move more slowly, allowing them to strike more often and avoid blows that normally would be fatal. Before the hydra was upon them, however, Urius heard something charging at him from the direction of the forest. Two werewolves were thrashing their way through any soldier in their way. Keeping the pressure on the Aiesnter army, he kept an eye on the approaching werewolves. They were steadily approaching, apparently going with the ebb and flow of the battle as everyone else, drawn to the two giants like water into a drain.
Finally one of them pounced. The beast became well acquainted with Nikon's spear as he hurled it at the werewolf, impaling it in mid-air. The other pounced half a second later, latching onto the minotaur and rolling across the ground with him. The two reverted to primitive and bestial states, tearing and ripping at each other with their claws and fangs. They rolled on the ground, thrashing at each other. Both warriors were strong, and they wailed on each other for nearly a minute, swinging back and forth and slamming each other onto the ground. It was a bloody feud. Finally, the minotaur managed to pin the beast to the ground, and pounded its face with his powerful fist repeatedly. As tired as they both were, it wasn't long until the werewolf stopped struggling.
Urius wasted no time. He stood up and stomped down on the werewolf with his hoof, breaking the beast's neck just in case. Bloodied and scarred, he roared again in triumph, filling himself with pride. He pulled out his short blade, and rejoined the battle, cutting down enemy troops that were getting dangerously close to the giant. The spear began to call for him a short distance away, the pulsing of the entwined magic drawing him like a fly to light.
Charging through the enemy headfirst, he found an enemy soldier trying to use the massive spear as his own, and failing miserably. He didn't notice the minotaur gutting him until too late. Taking the spear in his right, and the blade in his left, he vaulted back to his place beside the giant. He resumed his campaign of cutting through the enemy forces with renewed vigor, stabbing and slashing his way through the enemy. His wounds were already started to close themselves, albeit very slowly. This would be another tale to tell, his first encounter with a werewolf.

His pace hardly faltered as he crashed into the Aienstar forces with Urius. His massive hammer unsheathed moments before he began to swing. From afar it may have looked like blind berserker rage, but Avaarick knew exactly what he was doing. A broad stroke to the left took out ten fully armored soldiers, their armor dented and their insides turned to mush from the pressure. Though the huge maul carried much momentum, he changed it's directions for another swing in an instant, his hardened muscles straining against his hammer's inertia. A blow from right to left carved another huge hole in the line. letting go of his hammer with one hand he grabbed the nearest soldier by the head and hurled him, limbs flailing, into the nearest formation of soldiers. Like pins they all fell to the ground on top of one another where a single downward blow of his hammer ended their lives and the continuity of their spines. There was a huge grin on his face. Over forty kills in the first minute of battle, not his personal best but pretty close to it. He heard a roar as the werewolves attacked Nikon, confident in his prowess he left him to deal with the beasts for another had caught his eye, the hydra. Charging forth, hammer swinging he cleared a path easily to the great nine-headed beast. He saw it's entourage of warriors and beast masters and set them in his sights. He bent down to pick up a boulder near his left foot. As he returned upright the warriors hiding behind the hydra unleashed a volley of arrows. They struck him in the breastplate and bounced off, not even leaving a scratch. A great roar of laughter bellowed across the battlefield as he hurled his stone. It raced through the air and took out the beast master the two soldiers closest to him. He didn't even watch to see how much damage his projectile had done before he continued charging. Swatting aside the rest of the soldiers he shouldered his hammer and turned to engage the great beast. It lunged at him with two of his heads and reared back with the others, in case the first two heads failed. In his extensive travels before enlisting with Garis he had encountered a Hydra before and knew about it's regenerative capabilities. As the first two heads neared him he lunged sideways and grabbed both necks with one hand, breaking their necks but not the skin to prevent regeneration. The two heads fell limp and the other seven let out a livid roar, vowing to avenge their brethren. The hydra dashed forward, fangs bared full on assault. Avaarick was slightly caught off guard but managed to just barely avoid the charge. The head nearest to him swung at him suddenly, in an attempt to knock him on his back. At the last moment he managed to bring his hands up and grab the head. bracing himself against the beast he gouged the eyes out of the head he held in his huge hands. Instinctively the hydra tried to pull the blinded head back but Avaarick held strong and the hydra could not wrench itself from his iron grip. He snapped the third neck over his knee and began pulling himself towards the great beast using the most recently stultified head. The journey to the beasts body was a dangeous one. Two heads lunged at him. Grabbing one in each arm he squeezed the necks until their windpipes were crushed. He dropped them at his feet and smiled as they weezed their last breaths. Only three heads remained and he was determined to slay them all. Close to the body now he was attacked by the last two lesser heads. He managed to grab one in both hands and snap its neck, but its partner rammed him full force in the chest. He didn't fly back as the beast intended by he was knocked to the ground, slightly winded. The hydra only had one lesser head and the main head left. Avaarick knew that to try and return to his feet was sucicide, so he remained on his back and waited for the beast, muscles tense. What the hydra did next, he was unprepared for. It leaped into the air and landed over him. The sun that was shining brightly only moments before was now blotted out by a gagantuan monster. The major head let out some sort of cackle. It had its prey trapped and it knew it. It would kill this giant man who had caused it so much pain. The final lesser head snaked along the groud as Avaarick focused on the major head. His hands were up by his face at the ready, but he didn't see the lesser head until it was too late. It darted out and grabbed his left hand in a vice-like grip. Even it's diamond sharp teeth couldn't pierce his osmium armor, but he couldn't use his left hand as long as the beast had it. He could feel panic setting in, which was suprising given his immortality. He willed it off with his mind and in the split seconds before the major head removed his he spotted his way out. The seven heads that he had slain were still attatched to the beast and so they were hanging near by. One of them was right near his right hand and it's mouth was open. Grabbing a razor sharp incizor he wrenched in loose from the maw of the beast. He could feel it cutting into his hand but the pain didn't matter now. As the major head lunged towards him he jabbed his hand out with the steak knife sized tooth. He pierced the roof of the major head's mouth before relinqishing the tooth. The major head reeled back in pain, as did the sole lesser head. In fact the enitre beast reeled back onto two legs. Avaarick was free. Getting off the ground with incredible speed he grabbed the major head and threw it onto the ground. Stomping onto the toop of its head, careful to avoid the jagged tooth sticking out of the top of its mouth. The skull exploded and bits of bone flew in all directions. A guttural war cry resonated from his mouth and fill the battlefield. He had killed the beast, but he was far from done with it. He grabbed the dagger sized tooth from the beast's head and with it, split the hide of the beast open down the back. When the beast's innards were clearly viasable he discarded the tooth. Seeing his prize he wrenched the jagged spine out of the beast with a single yank. Holding it high above his head in victory he readied himself for battle with his newfound weapon. The temporarily stunned Aienstar troops readied themselves for death as he came upon them, the spine acting as a giant, jagged whip. He cleaved his enemies in half with his newfound tool. Howling in delight he paused briefly to check on his friend and to see how he was faring against the werewolves. (It was brought to my attention that in my haste to get a post out I failed to meet the epic quota of this RP I have mended my post and I hope you shall all be satisfied)
