Damiral Feiju (Damir Slavery)
The city of Meyikuyov, trade capitol of Denaer. Day 1: Blinding The Storm's Eye
[Southwest City, "Dock District": Pietra and Feryn]
Pietra looks the man in the eyes before stabbing him in the throat with Feryn crying behind her. "No more running off. This man thought you were a slave because of your cowering. Never do that again. I don't want anything to happen to you. If I hadn't been here, what would you have done?"
Feryn was tempted to remain silent, but that was the last thing either her or Pietra wanted. "I would have defended myself. I'm not helpless. All it would take would be two quick spells, and then me running around a corner as he bled to death."
Pietra nodded her approval and raised a hand for Feryn to follow. They headed for the docks themselves, but were intercepted by a group of three heavily armed slavers.
Slaver 1 HP 8/8 Lv2 Body 4, Mind 1, Heart 2, Perception 3. Heavy Armor 4 Longsword 4 Shield 4 Not Unreasonable 4 Pride 4 Crooked Smile 1
Slaver 2 HP 12/12 Lv3 Body 1, Mind 3, Heart 3, Perception 3 Heavy Armor 4 Longsword 4 Greatsword 4 Dagger 4 Sexist 4 Pride 2
Slaver 3 HP 4/4 Lv1 Body 2, Mind 4, Heart 2, Perception 2 Heavy Armor 4 Dual Daggers 4 Flaming Weapons 4 (4d2 more damage) Cowardly 4 Unhealthy 4 (Bleeds more easily)
Interests: Pietra will try to kill the most threatening-looking target first: Slaver 3 (Faster Than Normal 4, Longsword 4)
Feryn will try to bargain with any of the slavers (Confidence 4). Vs Slaver 1: Not Unreasonable 4, Pride 4; Slaver 2: Sexist 4, Pride 2; Slaver 3: Cowardly 4. If Pietra kills Slaver 3, Feryn gets a -1 bonus to her roll.
Slaver 1 will try to get the women to submit willingly (Heart 2, Pride 4, Crooked Smile 1).
Slaver 2 will try to get the women to submit by a show of force, attacking Pietra (Sexist 4, Greatsword 4, Pride 2).
Slaver 3 will cower, hoping nothing happens to him, unless he can convince himself to attack one of them (Cowardly 4).
[North City, "Children's District": Nelei]
Nelei mingled with the human and damir children who appeared her own age so she wouldn't stand out much. However, children happen to be observant of those different from them. One of the damir children noticed Nelei's blood-stained fur and congratulated her on her ability to fight. Nelei continued a conversation with one of the human children, trying not to draw attention to it, but the human child heard what the damir one said and gasped. Nelei, knowing this situation could lead to her having to kill children needlessly, admitted the blood was from someone who was trying to hurt her, but it was long ago. She demonstrated the time by pulling back the fur to show her immaculately clean hands. She then waved goodbye to them and skipped off inside another building, this time a museum of slavery. She knew this was a horrible place to do anything, especially hide, but she tried her best to blend in with crowds, not trying to hide from anyone in particular, but trying not to be noticed at all.
[East City, "Foreign District": Meptoa, Trobilu]
An egotistical mage from a foreign land (and his bodyguards) see something they wish to take as a prize: A giant suit of armor. Whether it was living or not, he wanted it and would have to deal with the thing next to it for a while.
Mage HP 9/9 Lv2 Body 1, Mind 4, Heart 4, Perception 1 Propel (spell) 4 (propels a small object (typically a rock) some distance, dealing 4d2 damage) Barrier (spell) 4 (As long as the spell is maintained, attacks hit a barrier with 16 HP. If the barrier collapses from damage, the mage cannot take an action for a turn) Blood Sacrifice (spell) 4 (Just look at Nelei for what it does -___-) Pride 4 Impossible to reason with 3 Dagger 2
Bodyguard 1 HP 12/12 Lv 3 Body 4, Mind 1, Heart 2, Perception 3 Longsword 4 Heavy Armor 4 Loyal 4 Damager 4 (increases damage by rank) Flaming Weapon 4 (deals 2d2 additional fire damage) Heartless 2
Bodyguard 2 HP 11/11 Lv 2 Body 3, Mind 3, Heart 2, Perception 2 Greatsword 4 Heavy Armor 4 Blindly Loyal 4 Hates Unnatural Creatures 4 Knife Throwing 4 (throws a knife, which deals 3d2+4 damage. Chance to hit is compared to a roll for the target's Body. If chance to hit is higher, it hits.) Evasion 1
Mage will attack Trobilu first, propelling a stone (Propel (spell) 4, Perception 1 vs Trobilu Body 2, Insubstantial 2, Perception 3)
Other two bodyguards will just attack Trobilu with their weapons. (Greatsword/Longsword 4 vs Trobilu Body 2, Insubstantial 2)

[East City, "foreign district": Meptoa, Trobilu] Meptoa will try to move between the mage and Trobilu to act as a shield. (Body 4, Perception 2) (and if successful: Body 4, endurance 4, Magic immunity 4, adamantine armor 4)
Trobilu will draw his dual daggers (technical specs fit those of The Mortals which Shadow weilds, minus all the fancy stuff) and find an opening in their attacks and exploit it all the while silently sidestepping their attacks. (body 2, perception 3, deft strike 4, dual daggers 4, silent step 3, insubstantial 2)
(waiting to see the outcome...)

(Fun fun, results time) Pietra: 6, 3; fail, pass; Partial Pass Faryn: 1 vs (1: 6, 2; 2: 2, 4; 6); (1: Partial Pass; 2: Partial Pass; 3: Pass, but...) Slaver 1: 4, 2, 4; fail, pass, fail; Fail, but... Slaver 2: 5, 4, 6; pass, pass, fail; Fail, but... Slaver 3: 2; "pass" (but that's a bad thing right now), but...
Mage: 6, 4 vs 2, 2, 1; Fail, Fail vs Pass, Pass, Pass Bodyguards: 5/4 vs 2/6, 3/3; Pass/Pass vs Pass/Fail, Pass/Pass Meptoa: 3, 5; Pass, Fail; Sadly irrelevant Trobilu: 3, 6, 5, 3, doesn't really matter but 2, 4; Pass, Fail, Pass, Pass, Pass, Fail
[Southwest City, "Dock District": Pietra and Faryn]
Pietra doesn't hit the slaver in time to make it useful for Faryn's talking, but she does hit him for 7d2+4 damage (minimum 11, instant death, no need to roll. 7 because of her size, +4 for longsword. Body will NOT factor in from now on, except for unarmed attacks. Even if I made the damage-lowering rolls, he'd die). He dies as Faryn convinces the others to lower their weapons temporarily. Seeing that Pietra killed their friend, they are more willing to listen to a deal, but because of Pietra's Bloodlust (4), she's not done killing.
Pietra will continue attacking, this time going for the next target, Slaver 2: (Bloodlust 4, Longsword 4, Body 4, Faster Than Normal 4) Faryn will try again to convince the men to leave them alone, but this time she's doing it to save their lives (Heart 3, Confidence 4, -1 conditional bonus, all vs Slaver 1: Heart 2, against:Pride 4 and Slaver 2: Sexist 4, against:Pride 2) Slaver 1 will try to stop Pietra from attacking in a diplomatic way (Heart 2, Not Unreasonable 4) Slaver 2 won't do anything, to protect his pride and views.
[East City, "Foreign District": Meptoa and Trobilu]
The mage propels the stone, but it completely misses its target AND his shield, meaning Meptoa moved in the way for nothing. The bodyguards manage to hit Meptoa instead of Trobilu. Bodyguard 1's attack does 3d2+8 (+4 Longsword, +4 Damager) and an additional 2d2 (Flaming Weapons). Bodyguard 2 deals 5d2+4.
Trobilu manages to hit both of the guard as they're hitting Meptoa, but gets their attention doing so. Both bodyguards take 3d2+4 damage.
Damage Rolls: (using 11-14): 12 + 3. (Endurance 4): 1, success. 6+1. (Adamantine Armor 4 vs regular damage, Magic Immunity 4 vs fire damage): 6, 6; fail, fail. (Body 4 vs regular damage): 4; pass. 3+1. Meptoa takes 4 damage. Meptoa has 17 HP remaining. Bodyguard 2 vs Meptoa: 9. (Endurance 4): 4. 5. (Adamantine Armor 4): 4. 3. (Body 4): 2. Meptoa takes 2 damage. Meptoa has 15 HP remaining. Guard 1 takes 8. (Heavy Armor 4, Body 4): 4, 6. Reduced once to 4. Has 8 HP remaining. Guard 2 takes 10. (Heavy Armor 4, Body 4): 1, 3. Reduced twice to 3. Has 8 HP remaining.
Interests: Mage will try to propel another stone at Trobilu (Propel (spell) 4, Perception 1 vs Trobilu Body 2, Insubstantial 2, Perception 3)
Guards will also attack Trobilu. (Greatsword/Longsword 4 vs Trobilu Body 2, Insubstantial 2, +1 penalty to Trobilu's rolls for being surrounded)
(I'll let you know now that you can have Meptoa attack both guards where they are, but he'll do that at -1 to hit each. In case you were curious and...didn't want Trobilu dying...since Meptoa took no action last turn except moving, he attacks first.)

Meptoa was slightly enraged at being hit, but controled his anger and turned to the body guard that hit him hardest, attacking with both fists simultaneously. (Body 4, perception 2, adamantine armor 4, unarmed fighting 4)
Trobilu was not happy with his situation and went full force into the other bodyguard, trying to slam into him to knock him off ballance while attacking with both daggers, hoping his insubstantial body would make the mage's rock pass through uninterrupted. (Body 2, perception 3, dual daggers 4, insubstantial 2)

(Only body and unarmed fighting factor in for your chance to hit (body for speed, UF for skill) for Meptoa. Perception factors in for ranged attacks instead of Body. But why not have him attack both guards for a chance to kill them both and have Trobilu attack the mage?)
Results: Pietra vs Slaver 2: 2, 6, 4, 5; Pass, Fail, Pass, Pass; Half longsword skill bonus to damage. Damage to Slaver 2: 5d2+6 (Longsword 2, Bloodlust 4): 14 vs (Body 1, Heavy Armor 4): 5, 1. Cut in half once. Slaver 2 takes 7 damage. HP reduced to 5/12. Faryn vs Slaver 1 (2 is resigned by now): 2-1 (1), 4-1 (3); Pass, Pass vs 3, against:6; pass, pass (fail is reversed for against rolls): Faryn talks Slaver 1 out of fighting. Slaver 1 vs Pietra: 2, 5; Pass, Pass vs (Bloodlust 4): 4; Fail; Barely convinces Pietra, who is still on edge and will strike at any moment, especially if Slaver 2 tries anything.
Meptoa's chance to hit: (Body 4, Unarmed Fighting 4): 4/3 + 1, 4/1 + 1; Pass/Pass, Pass/Pass. Meptoa's damage: 18/22. No point in rolling damage resistance; he's dead. Trobilu's chance to hit: (Body 2, Dual Daggers 4, Deft Strike 4): 2/4/1 + 1, 5/3/5 + 1; Pass/Fail/Pass, Fail/Pass/Fail vs (Body 3, Evasion 1): 6/3, 1/6; Fail/Pass, Pass/Fail. First would have done full damage, but was evaded. Second missed anyway. Mage vs Trobilu: (Propel (spell) 4, Perception 1): 4, 5; Pass, Fail vs (Body 2, Insubstantial 2, Perception 3): 3, 4, 1; Pass, Fail, Pass. Stone is evaded. Guard 2 vs Trobilu: (Body 3, Greatsword 4): 4, 3; Pass, Pass vs (Body 2, Insubstantial 2, Penalty dropped because Trobilu's no longer surrounded): 3, 3; Pass, Pass. Damage is cut twice. (Damage 5d2+7): 13. 7. 4. Trobilu takes 4 damage. He now has 14/18 HP.
[Southwest City, "Docks": Pietra and Faryn]
Pietra brings her sword down on Slaver 2, who falls to the ground in shame as Slaver 1 convinces her to stand down after the same is done to him by Faryn. Pietra keeps her sword drawn, but walks back to Faryn. Slaver 1 thanks her and gets his friend up. The slavers leave with no further incident. Faryn mends Pietra's wounds and they walk out of the alley again, after first looting the corpse of slaver 3, whose weapon is no longer flaming. They find very little money.
They continue toward the center of the city, the Faith District.
[East City, "Foreign District": Meptoa and Trobilu]
Meptoa's fists come crashing down on Guard 1, crushing him instantly. Trobilu tries desperately to kill the other guard, but misses him. He does, however, feel the weight and sharp edge of the greatsword pass through him, taking some of his shade with it. He sees another rock fly by his head, as well, but it crashes loudly into a wall. The mage curses in the distance.
The Mage will raise his barrier and try to flee (Barrier (spell) 4, Body 1).
Guard 2 will continue attacking Trobilu.

(i have my way of doing things and playing the odds, had i tried going after both, i would most likely missed one, and probably missing both, leaving Trobilu surrounded, or, by damage reduction leaving them alive but heavily wounded. by concentrating my attacks from Meptoa, i gauranteed one guards death. Trobilu trys to keep close to the suit of armor known as Meptoa for reasons unknown to most, he wants to make sure nobody steals his friend and partner in crime. I have my ways when RPing, and i let my characters build their own personalities and they tell me what they would do. i know that may sound weird, but when you write like i do, all of your characters develope personalites.)
Trobilu communicated with Meptoa silently with a few quick strokes of his hands, telling Meptoa to charge the mage. Meptoa did so, once again going full bore with both fists, hoping to break the mages concentration before he can cast another spell. (body 4, UF 4) (if hit, 9d2+12 for each arm successful.) Trobilu, having never turned away from the guard, attacked once again with both daggers, hoping to catch the guard off balance with the swing going straight through. (Body 2, dual daggers 4, Deft strike 4) (if hit, 5d2+4 per dagger.)

(I know how much damage the daggers do. And I was just curious about the whole "attacking one" thing.)
(Thankfully only have to roll for you now ^~^)
Mage: 1, 5. Erects barrier but doesn't escape. Guard 2: 2, 6. Vs (Insubstantial 2, Body 2): 2, 6. Half damage, no bonus for greatsword skill. (5d2 +2)/2. 12 / 2 = 6. Trobilu takes 6 damage, bringing him to 8/18 HP. Meptoa: 4, 3. Vs (Barrier (spell) 4): 1. Hits barrier for half damage. Mage is unharmed. (9d2+12 TOTAL (both hitting at once))/2 = 26/2 = 13. Barrier takes 13 damage. Barrier has 3 HP remaining. Trobilu: 1, 6, 4. Vs (Evasive 1): 6/3. Both hit, but no bonus skill damage for "Dual Daggers". Damage 5d2+2 each before reduction. (Heavy Armor 4, Body 3): 2/3, 1/4. Quarter damage from each (3d2+2, by the way. Daggers. Normal size.). (5+6)/4 = 3. Guard 2 takes 3 damage. 5 HP remaining.
Order of turns is Guard 2, Mage+Trobilu, Meptoa. Trobilu is delayed very temporarily by the hand motions, and Meptoa has to GET TO the mage.
Guard 2 swings his sword, which passes through Trobilu again, bringing some of his shade with it. It doesn't prevent the guard from taking two daggers in the back, however. The mage gets his barrier up as that is going on, and Meptoa crashes into it with great force, some of which radiates to the ground below the barrier. The barrier fades a little.
The mage will collapse the barrier and try to escape (Pride 4, Body 1)
Guard 2 will run to block the path of the mage (Body 3, Blindly Loyal 4, Hates Unnatural Creatures 4)

(i'm just going to leave the numbers to you, i have yet to actually find out what formulas you are using for calculations, and i am usually good at such things.)
Meptoa will try to destroy the mage before he can escape, all the while moving to block his exit. he will use his fist for consecutive hits, not for a combined attack this time.
Trobilu will let the guard think he is getting away by following silently, going for the assassin's specialty, the heart and the base of the neck using his unusual knack for quick and skillful blade strokes. (this would be a stab+turn on the heart, and a stab for the base of the neck, severing the spinal column by going between the T1 vertabre and the C7 vertebre.)

(I'm using attributes, traits, and assets that actually relate to what is being done. Skill bonuses and the like aren't granted to damage if they fail in the initial rolls, sort of a penalty for failing. Damage is instinct/common sense based on the die rolls I listed before: 3d2 for small, 5d2 for medium, 7d2 for large. Meptoa's damage was raised by 2 ranks for his charge. My order for attacks is based on what was done in previous posts.
To hit = Body/Perception (Melee/Ranged) and any applicable traits, such as skill in a weapon, etc VS Body/Perception (Again, depending on if the attack is Melee/Ranged) and any applicable traits or assets. Defense = Body cuts damage in half on a successful roll. Other applicable traits or assets, like armor or an immaterial form, factor in here, as well, generally cutting damage in half each time. Fractions are rounded UP, regardless of target. Each cut is applied SEPARATELY. Damage = 3/5/7/9d2 + Body/Perception (Melee/Ranged) (If a successful roll is made for them in the chance to hit) + Applicable traits and assets (skill in a weapon, etc) if they passed in the initial To-Hit rolls. Skill Check rolls (setting up a barrier spell, for example) are just d6, with 1+rank being the success rate. The barrier counts as a NPC, with only one skill: Barrier. It acts the same as Body.
It's not as complex as it looks. Keep in mind I've never tested this with the HP system before, so I realize it's not perfect)
Mage: (Pride 4, Body 1): 4, 6; Pass, Fail: Gets some distance, but doesn't escape. Guard: (Body 3, Blindly Loyal 4, Hates Unnatural Creatures 4): 1, 3, 2; pass, pass, pass: The mage tripped, but the guard has his back. Meptoa: (Body 4, Unarmed Fighting 4): 6/4, 1/1: Fail/Pass, Critical/Critical: Meptoa manages to hit both the guard AND the mage, even though he was only going after the mage. 5d2+8 to mage, 5d2+12 to guard. Mage takes 14 base damage. (Body 1): 1. Damage is cut in half. The mage has 2 HP remaining. The guard takes 20 base damage. (Body 3, Heavy Armor 4): 1, 3. Damage is cut twice, to 5. The guard is dead. Trobilu FOLLOW: (Silent Step 3 vs Guard's Perception 2): 2, 3: The guard hears it, but doesn't pay attention. He dies before Trobilu gets to him, anyway. Trobilu: (Body 2, Dual Daggers 4, Deft Strike 4, +1 penalty (Deft Strike only) for called shots, -1 bonus to all for stealth attack): 2-1, 4-1, 5+1-1: Pass, Pass, Pass: Attacks were clean and nice, as well as being perfectly placed. Damage ignores all reduction for a successful backstab. (Thankfully for you, I'm allowing the attack to transfer to the mage). The mage dies.
The mage collapses his barrier and attempts to run, but trips over his own feet. His loyal bodyguard rushed to get in the way of the attacking "titan", Meptoa, who manages to send the guard flying and slam his other fist down on the mage, who barely survives. Trobilu, who had taken the effort to sneak up on the guard, instead takes out the mage, who was distracted by the fist that crushed his legs.
(That was...exceptionally easy, this time.)
[North City, "Children's District": Nelei]
Nelei reached the other end of the museum, and returned back to the beginning. She left the museum and headed to where she wouldn't be as likely to be enslaved: The Faith District. In truth, she knew it was probably the most dangerous place besides the docks for a "little girl" like herself, especially one who would look eternally young. Slavers had a tendency to prey on Nyane, after all, and her differences made her potentially more valuable. But there was one place a slaver would never set foot in the Faith District: The Damir Consulate building.

(hmm. i understood what skills and attributes you were applying. i more so unsure on the damage reduction thing as to how that worked and the way you were figuring success/fail. thank you for explaining it.)
[East City, "Foriegn district": Meptoa, Trobilu] Meptoa turns to Trobilu, communicating with his hands to tell him to check the bodies for anything useful. As Trobilu searches, Meptoa trys to pinpoint their next target. finally deciding to go to the Faith District, against Trobilu's silent protesting.
